Yep, you read that right. My birthday is 4/20. Bouncers at bars in college thought my ID was fake like I was trying to pull a McLovin situation. But this email is about birthdays in general, not just mine. Do you have your team members' birthdays marked on your calendar? Do you know if they like having their birthdays celebrated? Make sure you know this information and that if they do like celebrating their birthdays, that you don't miss the opportunity to do so. It doesn't have to be big. Sometimes just acknowledging it via text, email, or team meeting is more than enough. But if they love celebrating their birthdays, and you miss it, not good. So if you are behind on this, I ask you to celebrate my birthday by prioritizing birthdays with your team! I freaking love birthdays! Cheers to another trip around the sun! Erin p.s.
